Pride Month is fast approaching and we’re extremely proud to be supporting the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community with a range of colourful promotional pride products.

The month long celebration in June honours the Stonewall Riots of 1969 and is dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities around the world.

In the UK, thousands of people come together for music festivals, street parties and events to celebrate and show support for the culture and rights of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a fantastic platform that raises awareness of the issues so many people throughout the world face. 

Here at The Business Supplies Group (BSG) we are committed to the principle of equal opportunity and inclusivity and we actively encourage and celebrate diversity across our organisation. Pride is an important month and a lot of our team will be celebrating at events in Brighton and along the south coast.

The pride flag and colours are recognised across the world and reflect the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and the spectrum of human sexuality and gender. It was designed in 1978 by the artist Gilbert Baker, an openly gay man and a drag queen. Baker adopted eight colours for the stripes, each colour with its own meaning (hot pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, turquoise for art, indigo for harmony and violet for spirit).

To support Pride Month and to help our customers and organisations across the country to show their support and celebrate diversity in their teams, we’ve created a range of Pride Products including rainbow lanyards, notebooks, sport bottles, bags and pens.
